Modern Products

Modern Products is located at unit 19 in the Kesakaka Compound. You can find the compound on IB Patel Road in Goregaon East. It’s a busy industrial area, and IB Patel Road is almost always lined with parked trucks and people moving crates. Our unit is just one of many in the compound, but it’s where we do everything. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the walls are a bit stained from years of work, but we like it that way. It’s a place where things actually get made. The sounds of the machines from the other units in Kesakaka Compound are like background music to us. We usually start our day by pulling up the rolling shutter and letting some light into the workshop. Modern Products isn't a fancy name with a big meaning, it’s just what we call ourselves while we handle the daily manufacturing and packing. We don’t have a human resources department or a marketing team. It’s just us, working on IB Patel Road. The traffic in Goregaon East can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to finish up and head out before it gets too bad. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea, and that’s about as much of a break area as we have. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where the work comes first and the frills come last.
