Modern Foam Industries Pvt Ltd is based over in Mahim. Specifically, we are at 21 on the 7th Main, right along the 80ft Road. Mmc Road is the other one nearby. It’s a good location because it’s easy to explain to people, though the 80ft Road can get pretty jammed up in the evenings. The office is pretty simple. We have a lot of samples of foam lying around, as you might expect. It’s not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is. We have a few people working in the back and a couple of us up front. The building has been there for a long time. We don't have any of those glass walls or fancy espresso machines. We just have a regular kettle and some old chairs that are actually quite comfortable. Being in Mahim is nice because there’s always somewhere to grab a quick bite. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers or checking the inventory. It’s a bit noisy with the road right there, but you get used to the sound of the horns after a week. We like the honesty of the area. It’s a working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just make foam products and try to keep our customers happy without any big fuss or marketing talk. The ceiling fans have been rattling for years, but they still keep the place cool enough.
