Modern Auto Parts

Modern Auto Parts is our shop at 346 C P Road in the Ganapathi Nagar area of Grant Road. We are situated right near the Padma Bar and Restaurant, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. We’re also quite close to Lamington Road, so the whole area is always buzzing with people and vehicles. We sell all sorts of spare parts for cars. The shop is pretty cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with boxes of every shape and size. It’s a bit of a challenge to keep it all organized, but we manage. We aren't a big, polished company with a marketing department. It’s just a couple of us who know a lot about cars. We have people coming in all day asking for things we haven't seen in years, and we do our best to find a replacement. The noise from the street is constant—horns, people shouting, and the sound of engines. We’ve become quite used to it. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the counter. We don’t have a website or do any social media. Most people find us by just walking past or being told about us by their friends. It’s a straightforward business. We provide the parts, take the payment, and help the customer get their car back on the road.
