Moayyed Abbas Fatehi

My name is Moayyed Abbas Fatehi. I live in Colaba, at number 406 on Old Madras Road. It’s a part of Mumbai that still feels like it belongs to another time. I’ve been operating from this address for quite a while. My place is up on the fourth floor. It’s a decent spot with high ceilings and old windows. I handle all my work from a big desk in the corner of the main room. I don't have a staff or a big office setup. It’s just me and my books. I like the independence of it. When someone calls, they know they are talking to me directly. There’s no middleman. Old Madras Road can get very busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. I usually wait for the rush to die down before I head out for anything. Most of my day is spent reading and writing. It’s a lot of detail work that requires a quiet mind. I’ve lived in this building for so long that I know every creak in the floorboards. The neighbors are mostly families who have been here as long as I have. We all look out for each other. It’s a good environment for working. I don't need fancy tools, just a good light and my pens. It’s a simple life, but it suits me perfectly. I don't have any big plans to expand. I am just happy doing what I do here.
