Mk Air Condition

Mk Air Condition is based in Loyalka Estate, over in Aslfa Village. We’re on Jmt Road, near the Jangleswar Mandir in Ghatkoptar West. It’s a busy neighborhood, and our shop is usually full of parts and tools. We spend our days fixing air conditioners or taking them apart to see why they stopped working. It’s messy work. Our hands are usually covered in grease or dust by lunchtime. We travel around a lot, going to people's houses or offices when their cooling goes out. In the summer, we’re running from one place to another because everyone is in a hurry to get their units fixed. The shop back at the estate is where we keep the spare compressors and the gas tanks. It’s not a showroom; it’s a repair hub. We have some old desks for the billing, but mostly it’s just workbenches. We’ve been doing this for years, so we’ve seen every kind of broken machine you can imagine. Sometimes it’s just a dirty filter, other times the whole motor is shot. We just tell people what’s wrong and tell them what it costs to fix it. There isn't any mystery to it. We keep the tools in the back of the van and head out to the next job. It's a lot of climbing ladders and working in tight spaces, but it keeps the lights on.
