Mittal Electronics Co

Our shop, Mittal Electronics Co, is located at A-39 in the Pravasi Indl Estate. Goregaon (E) is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic getting in and out of the estate. We’ve been here for a good while, and the walls show it. It’s a typical industrial unit with lots of shelves and workbenches. We mostly handle electronic spares and different types of hardware. It’s a lot of manual work, checking items against lists and packing things into crates. We don't have any fancy titles here; everyone just pitches in where they are needed. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is even in the dark. On rainy days, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Pravasi, but we’re still holding down our corner. We don’t put much stock in being polished or looking corporate. We’re just a local business doing what we know how to do. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it keeps things manageable. Just a regular day at the office for us involves a lot of tape, cardboard, and electronics. We usually finish up when the sun goes down and the gate guard starts his rounds.
