Mitesha Enterprises

Mitesha Enterprises is right in the heart of the hardware market on Nagdevi Street. If you have ever been there, you know it is one of the most crowded places in Mumbai. Our office is on the 4th Floor, in Room No. 401 of building number 34. There is no elevator, so climbing up those stairs a few times a day is our daily exercise. The staircase is narrow and usually has people carrying heavy bags of tools or pipes going up and down. Once you get to the 4th floor, it is a bit quieter than the street level, but you can still hear the shouting of the vendors below. Room 401 is small and filled with samples of the things we sell. We usually have the fan running at full speed because it gets very stuffy in the afternoons. We have been in this spot for years, and we know almost all the other shopkeepers on the block. We often share a pot of chai with the guys from the next room while we wait for orders to come in. It is a traditional way of doing business, mostly over the phone or with people who walk in after hearing about us from someone else. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day and knowing our products well.
