Our office is in Room Number 8 at Mehfuz Apartment in Thane. It’s a modest place, nothing like those big glass towers you see in the city center. At Mistry Builders And Developers, we spend our mornings looking at blueprints and talking to contractors. Most of what we do is about getting the small details right so the bigger project doesn't fall apart. Thane is growing so fast, and we are just trying to keep pace with all the changes happening around us. You’ll usually find someone sitting at the desk dealing with government forms or checking on materials. It gets a bit hectic sometimes when multiple things are happening at once. We don’t use any fancy talk here. If a wall needs building, we talk about bricks and sand, not "solutions." People from the area stop by to ask about progress or just to say hello. We’ve been around Maharashtra for a while and we know how things work on the ground level. It’s not a glamorous job, but seeing a building actually stand up after months of work is a good feeling. We have had our share of delays and rain ruining our schedules, but that’s just the nature of construction. We just keep the files in order and make sure the next day is planned out. There is always a lot of tea drinking while we argue over the best way to handle a problem on the site. It is simple work, really.
