Progressive Events & Associations

We are based out of the Nav Omkar Society, specifically in room C-304 of the Royal Residency. This is over in Mira Road East, right across from the Shree Krishna Garden building. It is more of a residential-feeling area, but we run our event business from here. Our workspace is usually filled with stacks of folders, some leftover decorations from past parties, and laptops that never seem to be turned off. Planning events involves a lot of talking on the phone and trying to coordinate with people who are often running late. It is not always as smooth as the final party looks to the guests. We spend a lot of time worrying about the weather and whether the caterers will show up on time with the food. The society is quiet enough, which really helps when we need to concentrate on complicated schedules. Sometimes we meet our clients nearby at a small tea shop or just have them over to the office to go over the final plans. Mira Road is a busy place to live and work, and the traffic on the main road can be a real headache, but we are used to it by now. We are not a giant company with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here trying to make sure things go okay for the people who hire us. We have had some long nights in this office.
