If you’re looking for a place to sweat near Babulnath Temple, we are right here at Grant Road. It’s a straightforward gym. We have weights, some cardio machines, and enough space to move around without bumping into everyone. People usually come in before work or late in the evening after the office hours end. It’s not one of those places with marble floors and fancy towels. We focus on the equipment and making sure everything is bolted down right. The air conditioning works most of the time, though on really hot Mumbai days, it struggles a bit like everywhere else. Our trainers are usually around, mostly helping people with their form or showing them how the newer machines work. We’ve seen all sorts of people come through these doors, from college kids to older folks living in the nearby buildings. It gets a bit noisy when the music is up and the weights are clanking, but that’s what a gym sounds like. Parking can be a bit of a headache on this side of Grant Road, so most regulars just walk over. We don't have a big sales team calling you every day. You just come in, do your workout, and go home. We keep the place clean, or at least we try our best between the busy shifts. It’s just a local spot for people who actually want to exercise without any of the extra nonsense you find at the big clubs.
