Metro Service Centre

Metro Service Centre is located at Shop No 37 on Lala Nigam Road. We are right in the middle of the Colaba Market, so it’s always a very lively and noisy place to work. There are always people walking by, vendors shouting, and the smell of the market in the air. Our shop is quite small and we have it filled up with tools, spare parts, and items waiting to be repaired. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than two people inside. We have been here for a long time and have seen many changes in the Colaba area. We mainly fix things for the people living and working nearby. It’s not a high-end service center with air conditioning and a fancy waiting room. It’s just a practical workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. Sometimes the parts we need are hard to find, so we have to spend time searching through the market or calling around. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Most of our regulars are neighbors who have been coming to us for years. We don't have a fancy business plan or a big marketing budget. We just provide a place where things get fixed. It’s hard work but it’s a good spot to be in.
