We’ve been here at Kanakia Western Edge II in Borivali for a while now. Getting to the office is usually a bit of a scramble because the Western Express Highway is always packed, especially right near the Magathane Depot. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how it gets during rush hour. Our spot is on the ground floor, unit A-006, which makes it easier for moving things in and out without waiting for the lifts. Most days, we are just heads down working on the metal and mechanical projects we handle. It isn’t the quietest area with all the buses and cars outside, but you get used to the hum of the highway after a few weeks. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we keep our files and meet up to plan the day's tasks. Sometimes we go out for tea near the depot when we need a break from the paperwork. Dealing with the heavy industry stuff means there’s often a lot of technical talk around the desks. We’ve got a small team here and most of us have been traveling this same route for years. It’s just how things go. We keep the place organized enough to find what we need, but there’s always a pile of drawings or some parts sitting somewhere. Borivali East has its own rhythm and we’ve just become a small part of that daily grind over here.
