Meta Safe Trading Corporation

Our office is on the second floor of the Sonawala Building on Bombay Samachar Marg. It’s right across from the Stock Exchange, so the whole area of Fort is always buzzing with people in a hurry. Meta Safe Trading Corporation is just one of many businesses in this old part of town. The building has those high ceilings and heavy doors that you don't see much anymore. We don't have a lot of modern decor. It’s mostly just old wooden desks, stacks of files, and the sound of the ceiling fans. We spend our time coordinating trades and making sure the numbers add up. Being above the Oriental Bank of Commerce makes it easy for us to handle the financial side of things. The elevator in this building can be a bit moody, so sometimes we just walk up the stairs. It’s a good workout, I guess. We aren’t a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. We are a small group that knows this neighborhood well. Lunch usually comes from one of the stalls nearby or a small dabba. The view out the window is just more old buildings and busy streets. It's a bit loud with the traffic down on No. 65, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just focus on the trading work and try to stay on top of all the paperwork that comes with it every single day. There is always something that needs to be filed or checked again.
