Our office is located at 63, Jolly Maker Chambers No. 2, which is right in the heart of Nariman Point. It is a busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who works here will tell you. The building is one of those classic business spots that has been around for decades. We have been operating Meridian Trading from this small corner for quite some time. Trading is mostly about staying on top of numbers and talking to people all day long. The office is often full of the sound of phones ringing or people typing away. It’s not a very big space, but we have made it work for us. You can see the traffic crawling along outside if you look out the window, and sometimes you can get a glimpse of the ocean if the weather is clear enough. We aren't interested in being fancy or looking more important than we are. We just have a job to do, and we do it from this desk-filled room. Usually, lunch is just something quick brought in from a nearby stall because there is always something happening that needs attention. The elevator in the building can be slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to get through the daily list of things to do.
