Our office is located in Andheri East, at Office No 19 on Parsi Panchayat R. If you know Mumbai, you know Andheri is always moving and Parsi Panchayat Road has its own specific pace. We’ve been here for a while, working on architectural systems. It sounds more complicated than it is; mostly we just deal with the technical side of how buildings are put together. The office is usually quite noisy with the sounds of the street and people talking. We have a lot of samples of different materials lying around—bits of metal, glass, and frames. It's not a showroom, just a working office where we figure things out. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have a few people who know their stuff and spend their time on the phone with contractors or looking at drawings. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a quote or check a specification, and that’s when the area finally starts to quiet down. We eat lunch at our desks more often than not because things can get pretty busy around here. We’re just a local business trying to do right by the projects we get. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up and handle the tasks as they come in. It can get a bit overwhelming during the monsoon when the traffic is bad, but we stick to our schedule regardless of the weather.
