MERCURY ELECTRONICS INC

Lamington Road is a pretty wild place to work, and Mercury Electronics Inc is right in the middle of it. We are located on the 2nd floor of the Gandhi Bhuvan Building. Chunam Lane is usually packed tight with people, handcarts, and stacks of boxes. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know exactly how it feels. It is loud, it is crowded, and there is always someone shouting or a scooter horn going off. Our office is at number 211. It is a bit of a walk up the stairs, but once you get inside, it is our own little world of electronics. We have shelves full of parts and components everywhere. It might look like a mess to someone who doesn't work here, but we know where every single piece is kept. Being in the heart of the electronics market means we see all kinds of people every day. We don't have time for fancy presentations or sales talk. People come in, ask for what they need, and we find it for them. The Gandhi Bhuvan Building is an old one and it has its quirks. Sometimes the elevator is out of order, so we just use the stairs to carry things up and down. It keeps us moving. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we like the energy. It is not quiet, but it’s home.
