We are based in the Om Society building, which is part of the Mazagon Dock Officer’s complex in Amrut Nagar. Being in Ghatkopar West means we are right in the middle of a very busy part of Mumbai. This is a chartered accountancy firm, but we do not like to make it sound more complicated than it is. We handle books, taxes, and all that paperwork that most people find a bit of a headache. The office is usually full of files and stacks of paper, especially around the end of the financial year. It gets pretty hectic then, and we end up staying late quite often. We are what you would call a medium-sized outfit, not too big and not just one person. There is a handful of us who have been working together for years. We know the local tax rules and the city’s regulations pretty well because we have lived and worked here our whole lives. Clients come in, sit down for a chai, and we go over their numbers. It is a bit cramped with all the desks, but we make it work. Living and working in Mumbai teaches you how to use every inch of space you have. We do not have a fancy website or a big sign outside, just the nameplate on the door. People find us because they need someone they can talk to plainly about their finances without any judgment.
