Our place is at 106 in the Industrial Area, just off Sion Circle. If you have ever driven down Sion Koliwada Road, you know it is a lot of trucks and activity. Medicare Equipments (India) Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time now. The building is an older industrial one, nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done for storing and moving equipment. It can get pretty dusty with all the traffic outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the surfaces. Inside, it is mostly shelves and boxes. We deal with all sorts of medical gear, mostly the heavy stuff that hospitals need. It is a lot of manual work, loading and unloading, checking serial numbers, and making sure the crates are secure. The guys in the back are usually busy with the pallets. Sion East is a busy hub, so there is always something going on. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Most of us wear work clothes because you are probably going to get a bit dirty anyway. We have a small office area for the paperwork, but the real heart of the place is the warehouse floor. It is a bit loud sometimes with the machinery and the traffic from the circle, but we like the energy. We have stayed in this location because it is easy for the transport trucks to find us, even if the traffic is a mess.
