Max Technology & Co is right in the middle of the action at 366 Ahmed Mansion, located on the 1st Floor. Being on Lamington Road means we are surrounded by the biggest electronics market you can imagine. It is always crowded, and the noise level is something you have to experience to believe. The mansion itself is an old building with a lot of history, and the stairs are worn down from decades of people walking up and down them. Our space is tucked away on the first floor, and it’s packed with technology components from the floor to the ceiling. We don't have a lot of room to move around, so we have to be very organized with where we put things. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in looking for parts that they can't find anywhere else. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the billing and another workbench in the back for testing things out. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing. Because it’s so busy outside, we often stay inside for the whole day, just working through the piles of orders. It is a bit of a chaotic environment sometimes, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we enjoy. We aren't trying to be a high-end showroom; we are just a reliable shop in a very busy market. The wooden floors creak whenever someone walks near the back.
