Thanavala Enterprise

You can find Thanavala Enterprise at No. 102 Krishna Kunj, which is at No. 143 Senapati Bapat Marg in Matunga West. The building has been around for a while, and our office is just one of many along this busy stretch of road. We do a lot of trading and general business work here. The desks are covered in notebooks, pens, and old calculators. Senapati Bapat Marg is always loud with the sound of the local trains nearby and the constant flow of traffic heading toward the station. We have a big window, but we usually keep the blinds down to keep the glare off the computer screens. Most days are spent tracking shipments and calling up suppliers to see where our crates are. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We have a small corner for filing where the folders are organized by year, though some of the older ones are starting to turn yellow. The flooring is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. People who know us just walk in. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work through the paperwork. It’s a basic setup, but it works for what we need to do every day. There is a nice vada pav stall nearby that we visit often.
