Our place is number 217 inside the Hanuman Industrial Estate on G.D. Ambekar Road in Wadala. It is a proper industrial estate, so there is always the sound of hammers or the smell of welding in the air. Mathura Switchgears Pvt Ltd is where we put together electrical components. It is a grounded, no-nonsense kind of place. We have a lot of heavy metal casings and wiring around. It is not the cleanest environment, but that is because we are actually making things here. We start early in the morning, getting the parts sorted for the day's assembly. Most of the guys here have been working with switchgears for decades, so they know the inside of a panel better than their own living rooms. We do not spend much on office furniture. We would rather have good tools and a solid workbench. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we have to wait it out, but usually, we are just busy fitting breakers and checking connections. It is a bit of a maze in the industrial estate, and we are just one unit among many. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on building things that will not blow a fuse when someone finally flips the switch. It is a simple business run by people who know their trade. We just keep our heads down.
