Arihant Impex

Arihant Impex is located on the 3rd floor of No. 44, over at 56-58 New Bardan Lane in the Masjid area. It’s a very old part of the city with lots of narrow streets and old buildings packed together. Being on the third floor means we do a lot of climbing, especially when the lift isn't working right, which happens more than we like. We deal with imports and exports, mostly small goods that come through the port nearby. The office is small and usually filled with samples and cardboard boxes. It’s a bit of a maze in here most days. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors on the phone and checking shipping dates. The noise from the street below never really stops, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home. Our neighbors in the building are all doing similar things, so there's always someone to talk to in the hallway during a quick break. We don't have any fancy brochures or posters. People find us because they know someone we’ve worked with before. It’s a simple operation, run by people who know the trade well. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks that come with being in the import business. It's a busy life but it's ours and it works.
