Our place is in the CGS Colony, specifically A-10/87, over in Ghatkopar West. Mumbai is a crowded city, so having an office here in a Type B Special block is actually quite nice. Mascot Overseas has been our life for a while now. We deal with stuff coming in and going out, which means there’s always a lot of phone calls to the port and the customs office. It’s a lot of logistics and tracking numbers. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably too full. We don’t have any fancy marketing people writing stuff for us. We just handle the business. Some days the humidity in Mumbai is just brutal, and we spend most of the day under the fan trying to get the paperwork sorted. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like it. Usually, we're talking to people from all over, trying to make sure their containers are where they should be. We’ve had some long days when things get stuck at the docks, but we just keep at it until it’s cleared. People know where to find us if they need help with their shipping. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just one that actually answers the phone when you call. It’s basic, honest work and it keeps us busy.
