Marvel Gloves Industries

You can find Marvel Gloves Industries up on the second floor of the Ashoka Shopping Centre. It’s part of that big G.T. Hospital Complex area on L.T. Marg. It can be a bit of a maze getting up here if you aren't familiar with the building, but once you find the stairs or the lift, we’re right there. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and rolls of material. The space is a bit cramped because we have to fit the inventory and the workstations all in one area, but we make it work. Since we’re so close to the hospital, the area is always packed with people and traffic. Inside our office, it’s mostly the sound of packaging tape and people talking over the noise from the street. We’ve been making and selling gloves for a long time now. It’s a simple product, but people always need them, so we stay busy. Our team is small, just a handful of us who know where everything is kept. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through stock or checking labels. It’s a regular shop where we focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the elevator is slow, but that’s just life in an older building in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. We take our tea breaks together and try to keep things moving as best as we can every day.
