If you ever find yourself stuck in traffic on L.B.S. Marg, you might pass right by the Asha Usha Compound where we are located. Maruti Supertouch Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in Vikhroli West. It's an old industrial spot, and the building has seen better days, but it works for us. We do a lot of finishing work here. It gets dusty, and there is always the smell of materials in the air, but that is just part of the job. Most of our morning is spent coordinating with the delivery trucks trying to navigate the narrow entrance. It can be a real mess when two big lorries meet at the gate. Inside, we have our setup for handling the surface treatments and whatever else the customers need. It is mostly a lot of repetitive tasks, making sure things look right and feel right. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of people. It’s a smaller crew where everyone knows everyone’s business. We have a small corner for the accounts and the rest is just storage and workspace. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we sit outside and wait for the generator to kick in. Dealing with vendors takes up a lot of the afternoon. We’ve been in this part of Vikhroli for a while, so we know the local shops and the neighbors well. It’s a practical way to earn a living, nothing more, nothing less.
