Mars Gas Company

Our shop, Mars Gas Company, is Shop No. 4 in the Gaodevi Housing Society. We are located in the lane by the Lotus Petrol Pump, right opposite the fish market in Adarsh Nagar. If you’ve ever been to Andheri West, you know how busy the fish market area gets. It’s always loud and there’s a lot of movement, which we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Our shop is pretty small and usually has a few cylinders sitting around and a lot of paperwork on the desk. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. The Lotus Petrol Pump lane is a bit narrow, so getting the delivery trucks in and out can be a real struggle sometimes. We’ve been part of the Gaodevi Housing Society for a long time now. Most of the residents know us by name. We aren't trying to be a big fancy corporation; we just provide gas to the local people and businesses. The smell from the fish market across the road is quite strong in the mornings, but it’s just part of the local atmosphere here in Adarsh Nagar. We open up early and stay until the last order is handled. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit. It’s just a normal, everyday business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our landline to take bookings.
