Marine Treasury

Marine Treasury is located right on the ground floor at 12/2 in the New Dawood Baug compound. If you know 98 Shuklaji Street, you know it can get a bit crowded around here. We’ve been in this spot for some time. The compound has its own rhythm. You hear the noise from the street outside, but inside it’s mostly just us focused on the tasks at hand. It’s not a large space, but we make it work. Every morning the shutters go up and we start sorting through what needs doing for the day. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s a plain office where we keep track of things. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello, or a delivery guy gets lost looking for another unit in the compound. We just point them the right way. Working on Shuklaji Street means you see a lot of different people every single day. It keeps things interesting, even if the work itself is steady and routine. We have some old desks and some shelves that have seen better days. It doesn't matter much as long as we can get our jobs done. There is always tea being made somewhere nearby. We just take things as they come. No big speeches or fancy goals, just a small group of us at the ground floor unit doing what we know how to do. That's the way we like it here.
