Our place is at 305-A on Princess Street in Goregaon West. It is pretty close to the Marine Line Station, which is handy for anyone taking the train. The area is always packed with people and the noise from the street never really stops. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. We handle various supplies and there is always a box that needs packing or unpacking. It’s a bit of a maze once you get inside because we try to use every bit of space we have. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a little when the monsoon gets really heavy, so we have to move the stock around. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We eat lunch together at the back where it’s a bit quieter. Princess Street has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk through the doors. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local business doing its thing day after day. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for a long time. It’s a bit dusty and the stairs are steep, but it is home for us during the work week.
