We are over in the Vishnu Building, specifically B 53, which is part of the Dakshta Police Co-operative Housing Society in Ghatkopar East. Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, but we’ve managed to make a comfortable spot for ourselves here. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main highway. The office has a very local feel to it. You’ll see the same neighbors every morning when we come in. We’ve got a small team here that looks after various administrative tasks and coordinates with our other sites. There’s a small pantry where we make our own tea, and the smell of cardamom is usually in the air around 4 PM. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, just the essentials like computers, printers, and a reliable internet connection that only goes down when it rains really hard. The walls are a plain off-white, and we’ve got some photos of our past projects hanging up, mostly to remind us of where we've been. It’s not the kind of office where you’ll find a ping-pong table or a bean bag. We just sit at our desks, do our work, and head home when the day is done. The commute can be a bit of a trek for some of us, but being based in Ghatkopar makes us feel connected to the heart of the suburbs. It is a simple life here.
