You can find us in Ganga Yamuna Colony in Mumbai. We are in the construction business, mostly handling infrastructure stuff. The office is often a bit messy with site boots near the door and stacks of papers on every surface. Mumbai is a tough place to build anything because there’s so little space. We spend a lot of time figuring out how to get machines into tight spots. It’s a lot of logistics and talking to different crews. We have a few regular guys who have been with us for years. They know the drill. It’s not a fancy corporate life. We are usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of the day. Some projects take months, and some drag on for years depending on the funding and the site conditions. We just keep pushing forward. There is always a new road or a small building that needs work. We deal with the heat and the rain like everyone else in the city. Our desks are old, and the computers are a bit slow, but they get the job done. We don't spend money on expensive furniture. Most of our time is spent out where the actual work is happening anyway. It’s a noisy, busy life in the colony, but it’s what we do. We just want to finish the projects and move on to the next one without too much fuss. It keeps us on our toes every single day and we like it that way.
