Lucky Timber Mart

Lucky Timber Mart is situated in Mohite Patil Nagar. It’s right there on the Ghatkopar Mankhurd Link Road in Mankhurd. If you know the area, you know it’s a heavy traffic spot. The road is always packed with vehicles moving between the two suburbs. Our place is basically a yard and some storage space. It’s not like a shop in a mall. There’s wood everywhere, and the smell of sawdust is pretty much constant. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, we’re in work clothes because things get dirty fast around timber. It’s a straightforward business. We unload trucks, move pieces around, and keep track of what we have in stock. The sun can be quite brutal out here in the open, especially in the middle of the day. We have a small area where we can sit and have some water or chai when we get a break. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just rely on people knowing we’re here on the Link Road. The ground is often uneven and there’s always something being moved. It’s just how a timber mart is supposed to be. We’ve been in Mankhurd for a bit now and we’re just part of the local scenery on this busy stretch of road. The gate is usually open early in the morning, and we stay until the light starts to fade.
