Mangalam Cards & Arts

We are located on the second floor at 167 Khadilkar Road, right in the heart of Zaveri Bazar. Mangalam Cards & Arts has been here for a while now. Getting up the stairs can be a bit of a climb, especially when we’re carrying heavy boxes of paper or ink. The shop is filled with different kinds of cardstock and ink samples everywhere you look. It’s often quite noisy with the sound of the printing machines running in the background for most of the day. Zaveri Bazar is always crowded, so it’s a relief to get up to our floor where it’s a bit quieter, even with the noise of the machines. We handle a lot of wedding cards and invitations. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers making sure the colors look right and the text is clear for every order. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team to promote ourselves. We just show people the samples we have in the shop and go from there. Sometimes the ink takes longer to dry than we expected, or a machine jams up, and we have to spend an hour fixing it ourselves. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We’ve known our regular customers for many years. It’s just a local place doing honest work with paper and ink, trying to get things done right.
