Malson Electronics

Our shop, Malson Electronics, is located at 1/10 in the Prabhadevi Industrial Estate. It’s right on V. S. Marg, so the location is pretty central for us. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Inside our unit, it’s all about the electronics. We have benches set up for assembly and testing, and there’s usually a faint smell of solder in the air. It’s a practical space, nothing flashy about it. We have shelves piled high with components and old manuals that we still use sometimes. The lighting is bright because you need to see what you’re doing with those small parts. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work to keep things from getting too quiet. The industrial estate has a lot of history, and we feel like we’re a small part of that. Most of our day is spent at the bench, working through whatever needs fixing or building. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of brochures. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know where to find us if they need electronic work done. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours, and it works for what we need to do every day. It just feels right.
