Malay Sanghavi & Co. is our firm, and we are based at Plot No.M-1 in Kalpita Enclave. This is on Sahar Road in Andheri East, which as everyone knows, is one of the busiest parts of Mumbai. Our office isn't one of those glass towers you see near the airport. It’s a more traditional space where we’ve been for quite some time. We handle a lot of professional work, mostly keeping books and dealing with tax matters for the local businesses around here. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at papers, but that’s the job. There are three of us who have been together since the start. We have a small pantry where we make tea and eat lunch together most days. The noise from Sahar Road never really stops, so you just learn to talk a bit louder. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small brass plate near the door. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so they know exactly where we are. We don't go out looking for new business much. Usually, someone’s cousin or friend needs help with their accounts and they send them to us. It’s a steady way to work. We like the neighborhood, even with all the congestion, because everything you need is just a short walk away. We just keep our heads down and do the work honestly.
