Arc Bonding Devices

Being located in the Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West definitely gives this place some character. We are up on the 1st floor at No. 176. It’s an old compound with a lot of history, and you can feel it in the walls. Getting the heavier bonding devices up those stairs can be a bit of a workout, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment packed in, but we know where everything is. Arc Bonding Devices is basically just a few of us working together in the middle of all the Malad bustle. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud we can barely hear the machines. We usually have the windows open when it’s not raining to get some air in, though you mostly just hear the traffic from the street outside. We don’t really do fancy presentations. Usually, someone just walks in with a part that needs fixing or wants to look at a machine, and we sit down on the old stools and talk it through. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps everything simple. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea, which helps during the long afternoons when we have a lot of bonding work to get through. It’s just a normal workshop doing its thing in a busy part of town.
