Malad Maternity & Surgical Hospital

Malad Maternity & Surgical Hospital is tucked into Magal Lal House at No. 113 on SP Road. It’s right there in Malad West, a part of the city that never really seems to sleep. The building is an older one, Magal Lal House has its own character, and we occupy our space on SP Road with a lot of daily foot traffic passing by. Since we handle maternity and surgery, things can get a bit intense sometimes, but mostly it is just steady work. People come in through the main doors and usually look a bit worried or tired. We have a small reception area where the phones seem to ring more often than not. The rooms are basic but functional. We have the equipment we need set up in the back. In Malad West, you get used to the cramped spaces and the way everything is built so close together. Our windows look out onto the street, so you can see the tea stalls and the commuters. The staff here mostly eats their lunch in a small breakroom because there isn't much space for anything else. It is a practical place for the local families on this side of Malad West. We don't have any big advertisements outside, just the name on the door and the address so people can find us when they need to. It is a humble setup but we get the job done.
