Magnate Shirts

Magnate Shirts is located right near the railway station on Anand Road. We are in Shop No. 1 at Ismail Baug, which is 49/18. If you know where Narmada Hall is, we are just opposite that. It’s a very busy part of town because of the trains. We get a lot of people walking by our window every hour. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough room to show what we have. Most of the day is spent folding shirts or talking to people who drop in while waiting for their commute. It gets loud with the trains passing and the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a week. We keep a simple setup. There are shelves for the stock and a small counter for the till. Sometimes the fans don't keep it cool enough when the shop is full, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a fancy mall store. We just sell shirts to regular people who need them for work or for going out on the weekends. Being near Ismail Baug means we see all sorts of people. It’s an interesting place to work because you never know who will walk through the door next. We’ve been at this location for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around the station. It's just a regular shop doing regular business.
