Makers Builders

Makers Builders is located over at 2/14 in the Laxmibai Akaram Kamble Chawl. We are on P.N. Road in the Kamble Compound area of Bhandup West. If you know Mumbai, you know Bhandup can be a very crowded and active place. Our office is right there in the middle of it all. It’s a small space, part of the chawl structure, so it’s very close-knit with the neighbors. We have been in this spot for years. It’s a very simple setup—just some chairs, a big table where we look at plans, and a fan to keep the air moving. It can get pretty loud outside with the street traffic and the people walking by, but it’s a good spot for us because we are close to the work we do. We don't have any big corporate signs or a fancy entrance. You just walk up and knock on the door. There is always someone here, usually drinking some chai and looking over some documents. We’ve got a lot of history in this compound. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a real, working office where we just focus on building things and getting the job done. It's not a place for showing off, just for working hard and making sure our records are kept straight for all the local projects.
