Mahindra Ugine Steel Company Limited, Khopoli. is based out of the Musco Colony in Jagdish Nagar. We are in G3/8. It’s tucked away in the Khalapur taluka of Raigad district. This area is very much tied to the industrial life of the region. The colony has been here for a long time, and you can see that in the buildings and the trees. It’s a lived-in place. We don't have a fancy corporate office with a lobby. Instead, we work out of the colony quarters, which keeps us close to the families and the people who actually make the company run. It’s a tight-knit community here. You walk down the street and see people you’ve worked with for years. The office is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and all the logs we have to keep. Being in Raigad means we are away from the massive urban sprawl, but it’s still busy enough. There is always a truck moving somewhere or someone heading off to a shift. We deal with the day-to-day operations and the local logistics from this spot. It’s a simple, functional way to do things. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big titles or expensive furniture. We just want to get the job done and make sure everything at the Khopoli site is moving along as it should. It gets the job done for us.
