Working at Mahindra Mahindra on Pedder Road means dealing with a lot of noise from the street. Our office is at 25 Satnam Sagar, which is a well-known building in this part of Mumbai. It’s an older place, but it has character. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the elevator can be moody, but it gets us where we need to go. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through the daily tasks. We deal with a lot of people from across the city. Since we are at 20 Pedder Road, there is always something happening outside. Sometimes it’s hard to hear over the honking, but you get used to it after a week. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for how we talk to each other. It isn’t a high-tech lab or anything like that. It’s just a place with computers and people trying to stay on top of their schedules. Lunchtime is usually quick because there is always another pile of work waiting. We see the same faces every day, both the staff and the regulars who stop by. Being in South Mumbai keeps us busy. We don’t really do the whole corporate jargon thing here. We just sit down, open the files, and handle the business. It’s a solid routine.
