Timbadia Brothers Co.

Being at Shop No. 312 in the Masina Building puts us right in the middle of everything in Mahim. Since we are so near the station, you can always hear the trains if you listen close enough. The building itself is one of those older places that has seen better days but it is sturdy. Timbadia Brothers Co. is basically just a few of us working in a small room. There are files stacked up on the shelves and the desks are a bit crowded with papers. We have been in this shop for a long time. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but nobody really has the time to think about that. We get a lot of people stopping by because they are walking to or from the station. The neighbors in the other shops are mostly quiet, except for the guy who runs the place next door. We drink a lot of chai throughout the afternoon to stay awake. The monsoon season is the worst because the hallways in Masina Building get a bit damp. We just keep doing our work every day without making a big deal out of it. It is a simple setup with a couple of chairs for visitors and a big heavy door that we have to pull hard to close. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop here in Mahim.
