Mahesh Pen & Plastic Industries

Our little shop, Mahesh Pen & Plastic Industries, is tucked away in the Viral Shopping Centre. It’s right there at number 16, just behind Pawan Hotel in Malad West. If you know the Mantri Wadi area, you probably know it gets pretty crowded around here during the day. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a long time. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the plastic goods and pens we have stored, but we make it work. Usually, there’s a lot of activity in the alleyways, and we are right in the middle of it. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. Mostly, it’s just us doing our daily tasks and making sure the orders are ready. Some of the shelves have been here since we opened, and they show a bit of wear, but they hold up fine. Living and working in Malad means you deal with the heat and the noise, but that’s part of the charm of being a local business. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for our record keeping; a lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way with pens and ledgers. It feels more grounded that way. Sometimes the shop feels a bit messy when we get a large delivery, but we always sort it out by the end of the day. It's a simple life here at the shopping centre. We just keep the supplies moving.
