Mahavir Refractories Corporation

Mahavir Refractories Corporation is based in Maker Bhavan No.2, specifically at 18 New Marine Lines. This part of town is pretty established, and being in one of the Maker Bhavans means we are surrounded by other businesses doing their own thing. It’s a professional environment, but we keep our own office fairly casual. We aren't the type to use big words or have long meetings that don't go anywhere. We deal with refractory materials, so there is a lot of talk about temperatures and bricks and industrial supplies. It’s a very specific field, and we’ve been at it for a long time. The office has big windows, but we usually have our heads down looking at spreadsheets or talking to suppliers on the phone. New Marine Lines is a good area to be in, though finding parking can be a real headache some mornings. We usually just take the train or a cab to avoid the trouble. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to get done before the weekend. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the routine inside and out. It’s just a steady, quiet place to work where we handle our business and go home to our families. We like the stability of it and the fact that we have been in this spot for so many years.
