Maharashtra Seamless Limited

Down in Raigad, specifically in the village of Sukeli, you will find Maharashtra Seamless Limited. We are located at the MSL-I site in Taluka Roha. This isn't like working in a big city office. Out here, things are a bit more spread out and the surroundings are much more rural. It’s a large site because of the nature of what we do. You can see the industrial setup from a distance when you’re driving through this part of Maharashtra. We spend a lot of time on the ground here, dealing with the actual physical operations of the company. The weather can get quite hot or very rainy depending on the season, which definitely affects how the day goes. We have a lot of local people working with us. It’s a major part of the Sukeli area. Most of the time, the focus is on the logistics of moving things in and out. It’s a noisy, busy place when the machines are running. We don’t have many visitors out here unless it’s for official business or deliveries. The distance from Mumbai or Pune means we have to be pretty self-sufficient. There’s a certain pace to life here in Roha district that you don’t find elsewhere. We just show up, do the work that needs doing at the village site, and keep the operations running as smoothly as the environment allows us to. It is hard work but it keeps us grounded to the industry.
