Maharaja Clearing & Forwarding Agency is located in a small part of Mumbai called Ghatkopar West. Our office is in the Devkinandan Chwal, specifically Room Number 4. If you know the area, it is on Jivdaya Lane in the Bhatwadi section. It is a very lively neighborhood, maybe even a bit too loud sometimes. We handle the clearing and forwarding of goods, which is a lot of government paperwork and custom rules. You have to be very patient to work here because things don't always move as fast as you want them to. There is just enough space for our desks and a place to store all the documents we have to keep. We've been in this spot for years and the neighbors are like family. The monsoon season is always a challenge because the lane can get a bit flooded. We just put on our boots and keep working anyway. It is not a glamorous life, but it is what we do. We talk to people at the port and the transporters every single day. There is always someone coming in with a new set of papers to sign. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized in the middle of all the Mumbai chaos. It is a lot of stamps and signatures and waiting in lines. We just keep doing it.
