You can find our shop in Chembur. We are at Shop Number 3 in the Shree Adinath Tremies Cooperative Society. It’s a small place right in the middle of a residential area. We have been here for a long time and know almost everyone on this street. It is a very local jewelry shop. We don’t have those huge displays you see in the city. We keep a small selection of gold and silver items in our glass counter. Most of our work involves helping neighbors find something simple for a wedding or a birthday. We also do small repairs and cleaning. The shop is quite tiny, so there isn’t much room to move around. We have a couple of stools for customers to sit on. We don't have any air conditioning, just a fan that hums all day. It’s an honest, small-scale business. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. People just know we are here in the society building. We usually open up in the morning after our chores and stay until the evening. Sometimes we close for a bit in the afternoon if it’s quiet. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just manage things ourselves and talk to whoever walks through the door. It is a quiet way to earn a living in Chembur.
