Magna International

Our office is over in Malad West, specifically in Kane Plaza, Office Number 101. It’s right in the Mindspace area, which is always buzzing with people and traffic. Magna International isn't a huge place. It’s just a regular office where we handle our business paperwork and talk to clients on the phone. We do a bit of everything when it comes to trading and sourcing. The office is usually quiet compared to the noise outside on the street. We have a couple of desks, a computer that's a bit slow, and stacks of files that we really should organize better. Working in Mindspace is convenient because everything is close by, but finding parking around here is a nightmare every single morning. Most of us take the train and walk from the station to avoid the jam. We spend a lot of time responding to emails and checking on shipments. It’s not the kind of job where you see something being built, but there’s a lot of coordination involved. Sometimes we have meetings that go on too long, and other times we’re just waiting for a call back from a supplier. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle in the corner and some biscuits. It’s a practical space for us to get our daily tasks done without any fuss or corporate nonsense. We’ve been in Kane Plaza for a while now and we’re quite comfortable with the daily routine.
