Maersk Line (Shipping)

We are based right here in Flat No. 6 of the S.P.B.T College staff quarters. If you know the area, it is just adjacent to Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle West. Living and working around here in Mumbai is busy, but we manage. Most of what we do involves the shipping side of things. It is not a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical setup where we handle the day-to-day paperwork and logistics that come with moving goods across the water. We have been in this spot for a while now. The J.V.P.D Scheme area is usually crowded with traffic, so we are used to the noise and the pace. People often ask how a shipping operation runs out of a college staff quarter, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the containers where they need to go. There are a lot of phone calls and checking on schedules. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or port issues, but that is just how the sea works. We try to keep things straightforward and do not spend much time on flowery talk. If a box needs to move from one side of the world to the other, we figure out the route. Being in Mumbai means we are close to the action anyway. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It is a job like any other.
