Maersk Global Service Centre

We’ve been working out of our office at B-28 in Om Uma Chs Ltd for quite a while now. It’s located right in Shastri Nagar, near the Kopar Cross Road in Dombivli West. Most of the people around here know us as the Maersk Global Service Centre. It is just a regular place where we get our daily work done. The building is one of those typical ones you see in this part of town. Every morning, the staff shows up and we start going through the usual tasks that keep a service centre running. It isn’t always quiet, especially with the local traffic around the cross road, but we manage. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. It’s mostly about keeping the operations moving and making sure the paperwork gets filed correctly. The office space isn't huge, but it fits everyone we need. We drink a lot of tea while we look at screens and talk to people on the phones. Sometimes the weather in Dombivli gets really humid, so the fans are always going. People stop by occasionally asking for directions or looking for our specific unit in the society. We just try to stay organized and do what needs to be done before the day ends. There’s no big secret to how we operate. It is just a group of us sitting at desks, handling the logistics and service side of things. It’s what we do here in Shastri Nagar.
