Our place is at A/102, Pradnya C.H.S on Mithbunder Road in Thane (East). Even though the name Maersk Global Service Centre Pvt.Ltd. sounds like it belongs in a massive skyscraper, our local setup here is much more down-to-earth. We are part of a cooperative housing society, so we are surrounded by families and regular residents. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than being in a sterile business park. Thane East is a busy area, and the commute to Mithbunder Road can be a bit of a struggle during peak hours when the trains and buses are packed. Our office space is pretty standard. We have the usual desks, some old chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of cables running across the floor. We spend most of our time dealing with data and messages coming in from all over. It can get a bit repetitive, but we just put our heads down and get on with it. The building itself is okay, nothing special to look at, but it keeps the rain off our heads. We have a small window that looks out towards the road, and sometimes we take a minute to just watch the people going by. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We are just here to do the work that needs doing. It is a quiet, steady environment where we focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized.
